Reforma da Biblioteca Jurídica São Francisco da Faculdade de Direito da USP
O projeto de reforma da Biblioteca de Direito da USP tem como eixo principal a ocupação do vazio central com pavimentos intermediários entre as lajes existentes.
Esse novo núcleo é gerado a partir de uma estrutura metálica autônoma e independente do conjunto existente, proporcionando maior aproveitamento das alturas e conquistando oportunidades de classificação das bibliotecas especializadas.
São Francisco Juridical Library from USP's Law Faculty reformation
The project developed for the USP Law Library remodel started by establishing its main access through the central void and by inserting intermediate floor slabs between the existing ones.
This new core was established thanks to an independent metallic structure that was able to take full advantage of the available height and increase book storage capacity. Due to the nature of a specialized library of this kind, this increase in capacity was much needed and expected.
